Just Tell Me How Much It Costs!

There is an old English stating that we can "know the price of all, but the value of nothing" and in our all-consumption, "I want it now", company that this stating always has the great relevance. When I walk around the supermarket which I am bombarded with the offers "half-price", the "purchase one obtain free" differently known under the name of "BOGOF", "additional 30%" and so on, but what this really average with me, the consumer? To take the case of fresh strawberries, they seem to have been "half-price" all the season, makes of it I am sure that I have to still see a maniveau without flash of half-price. We bus of the consumers we point out really what we paid last year our strawberries? I not, but perhaps I could excavate around and find an old man to the receipt which would indicate to me. Does the flash of "half-price" encourage us to buy more strawberries though they are badged always as such? Well it certainly draws our attention like customers and makes to us est! imate it that this could be the good "business" which we had looked at outside for! Our eyes instinctively always go to the part of the receipt which states to us that we saved today on the special offers. If it is a GREAT number which we smell ourselves duly gratifiés, even if it means that we spent really more money than we envisaged or than one week later we throw most of food because it then went obsolete. If a product is always discounted, how long is before the reduced price becomes the "real" price? When a product is always sold witha reduced rate want this devaluate it thereafter like product for the consumer? Do we consider the real production costs of our purchases? Us all the beginning with becoming uncomfortable at the time when the purchase if our attention is drawn to questions such as the protection of the animals, the use of the total resources, the wellbeing of workman or the equitability of the trade with suppliers, even more if we are necessary really to ! make a moral decision. The problem with ethics is that while i! t is a g ood idea in the abstracted direction, when we rest reports/ratios of observation of television, strategy of planning of responsibility or have a drink with friends, in the real direction when it starts to wound our pockets or to require us to then apply the change suddenly it is not like definite.
